Find calm. Build trust. Grow. At your own pace.

MyPhilosophy

Equine-assisted therapy is a powerful complement to conventional forms of therapy. The encounter with horses supports physical, emotional and social processes, creating space for reflection and personal growth.

Close contact with horses can ease depressive moods, strengthen motivation and counteract loneliness. Equine-assisted therapy is used for psychological, emotional and social challenges.

Therapy with ShamaA special path

Sometimes we need a place where we can simply be ourselves, free of pressure and free of judgement. In the encounter with a horse, children, teenagers and adults find calm, safety and trust: whether facing anxiety, going through a demanding phase of life or looking for new strength.

The horse senses what you need

Horses meet us openly and without judgement. That is how real trust is built.

Small steps become big successes

Every bit of progress counts and becomes tangible on the back and at the side of the horse.

Confidence grows, at your own pace

Without pressure, without judgement: you discover how much you are capable of.

Equine-assisted therapy brings joy, courage and new ways to express yourself, at any age. A protected space where you get to learn: “I can do this!”

TheHorses

The real therapists stand on four hooves. Each of our horses brings its own character. Together they create a space full of calm and trust.

Portrait of Shama, a chestnut mare with a white blaze

Shama

the sensitive one

My mare (born 2013) is an especially perceptive therapy partner with a gentle nature. She asks for a genuine relationship: whoever wins her trust experiences a curious and incredibly precise companion. Shama shows very clearly what she likes and what she does not, demands full presence in the here and now, and mirrors her counterpart with fascinating clarity.

Portrait of Venti, a dun gelding with a dark mane

Ventura (Venti)

the humorous one

This Welsh-cross gelding (born 2010) puts a smile on everyone's face with his charming, funny nature. Venti meets people openly and with curiosity, but also likes to challenge them. With his expressive character he honestly shows his own opinion and makes for lively, unforgettable encounters.

Aboutme

Jenny Dias

Equine-assisted therapist

Horses have been part of my life since childhood. They have shown me how much strength lies in the quiet connection between human and animal, and that they communicate not loudly, but through subtle, honest signals.

These experiences were the impulse for my training as an equine-assisted therapist at Equimotion Schweiz. At Hof Gruben I create a protected space in which people, big or small, can find calm, build trust and grow beyond themselves.

My main job is in project management at Spital Glarus; equine-assisted therapy is my passion alongside it. On request, sessions are also available in English.
